Hi Rajee

Thanks for visiting and for your concern.

You are right they don't know so many things...even the basics, leave alone the commercialized ones. I am glad that you could see this.

I tried to raise the issue of FEMALE INFANTICIDE through my previous poem and also tried to raise the dowry issue through one of my stories.
I want you to kindly go through that and let me know your opinion about that. I am sending the links below.

Very valid question, dear Promilla. But they don't know so many things. Do they know what is a valentine's day? Do they know what day it is? Do they know if they would get their evening meal? They just don't know all this.
By the way, do we all know what MOTHERHOOD is all about? Is it only WOMAMHOOD or more than that? What is the difference between a mother and a woman with children?  Do mothers have only sons and not daughters?
So many questions come to my mind---you know why? Because WOMEN ARE THEIR  OWN WORST ENEMIES. Examples------DOWRY DEATHS---SAAS -BAHU QUARRELS-----SECOND WOMEN BREKING HAPPY FAMILY------FEMALE INFANTICIDE or PRE NATAL KILLING OF A FEMININE FOETUS---Kindly ponder over these issues and raise your voice in a chorous to rectify these flwas in the WOMEN of today. Regards. Rajee.

Promolla : Good pictures, these women are not affected by the commercialization of this day but yet their love, effort and sacrifices need to be mentioned and cherished.
Very good.
